[1] Fashion and beauty retailer & Other Stories has begun selling bath and body products via a vending machine as a part of efforts to find new ways to connect with customers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Situated in the retailer’s store in Galeries Lafayette in Paris, the machine will be stocked with four of its most popular fragrances including Perle de Coco, Punk Bouquet, Sicilian Sunrise and Arabesque Wood. The product categories include hand soap, mini hand cream, eau de toilette and a roll-on perfume with prices ranging from €5 to €30.
The project is a collaboration between & Other Stories and H&M Group’s The Laboratory which explores opportunities for innovation to improve the customer experience.
Anna Tillberg Pantzar, head of The Laboratory, said: “We strive to constantly develop and challenge ourselves and there is always room for interesting new ideas and initiatives. With this pilot together with & Other Stories we want to offer a great customer experience with convenience and local relevance by being present in customers everyday life. We test small and scale smart once having learnings, starting with one location in Paris.”
